Antique Persian Qalam Zani early-century hand-hammered polished brass tray table with Persian makers mark engraved. This is dates to approx 1890-1900
These platters are originally from the Middle East and can be used indoor or outdoor. This table has hand made French folding legs for easy storage.
The diamater is 20″ or 50cm. It is a lovely depth to prevent items sliding off and would be a stunning addition to any room.
This tray table was brought back to France by the ancestors of a local family in the early 1900’s and the legs were crafted locally here. The tray is rare as it is both signed and has a five pointed star where many of these types of trays have stars with six points.
The colour of this tray has been maintained over time due to care and the shine is fantastic.
Due to the makers mark, colouring, pattern and provenance this try holds great value.
