Vintage Framed Impressionist Canvas Reproduction of Edgar Degas “L’Étoile”

An authorized French studio replica of Edgar Degas’s celebrated 1878 Impressionist masterpiece, L’Étoile (The Star), the original of which resides in the Musée d’Orsay.

This piece features a canvas base that has been hand-painted (rehaussée à la main) by an artist to capture the texture and light of the  original oil painting. Stamped on the reverse with the French workshop mark and handwritten title (“La ballerine”).

Presented in an ornate French Rococo-style gilt frame with a black-washed panel.
