This is a beautiful 19C French cast iron door knocker in the shape of a hand clutching a fruit . There is a ring on the middle finger and frilled cuff on the wrist. This beautifully cast French door knocker will be an attribute to any entrance door.
This door knocker has been painted brown at some stage in it’s past. The paint can easily be removed with paint remover.
